Let’s Get Uncomfortable in Public!

Hey Snugglers,

Cam The Cuddler here, writing from Oregon.  Recently, I’ve been making people very uncomfortable.  They don’t like my public displays of platonic affection.  So guess what I will be doing more of…Yup, embracing people with my heart, out in the open.

It all started when I met a new friend at the gym.  We hit it off, and eventually met up to cuddle at a grocery store in a “community room.”  She was not a client, because I was attracted to her.  However,  I did want to show her my work, and touch her appropriately in an open space.  So I put my arm around her shoulder as we sat, and together we exchanged positive energy.  I provided light massage too, and it was all good!

Then the store manager approached us, and said we were making the customers extremely uncomfortable.  Really, we just made her feel weird, about something she didn’t know, and didn’t seek to understand first.  I said, “I’m providing platonic touch, and I just have my arm around her.  We aren’t kissing.”  She left, then came back again, and asked us to leave.  My work was done.  Good job Papa Bear…

Platonic touch, such as cuddles should be more accepted in public.  It’s an intimate form of PDA, but if we can’t touch and hug each other in an open and free society, then we have nothing as a culture.  Another part of it is, I think some weaker people simply don’t like seeing a strong man doing his thing freely.  They want to control me, and make me feel small and unconnected like them.  Not happening.

Another example of blatant stupidity happened recently at my local public pool in Seaside, Oregon.  I calmly held a girlfriend in my arms, as we melted away in the therapy pool.  It was perfect.  Then a young male lifeguard felt the need to come over and tell us smugly to “stop the PDA.”  I replied, “No, I’m a Professional Cuddler, and I’m being appropriate.”  He scurried off, and whined to the other close-minded people on duty.  And as a currently certified lifeguard myself, I was disappointed they were all watching me, instead of the water.  You have one job lifeguards, and squashing free love isn’t it.

Next, the team of lifeguards came over and kicked us all out of the healing hot tub due to a “mechanical issue.”  Lie.  My amazing touch shut down the therapy pool, and with that the senior citizens, plus my friend and I, found something else to do.

Bottom line:  Y’all need to get over my cuddling service to the public.  I’m not going anywhere.  You can’t grow if you don’t get uncomfortable.  It’s how you prepare for life’s uncertainties.  I feel fortunate that I’m in a position to help your personal development.  Cuddling is about that, and it’s basic self care, like a massage, but for your soul.

World Tour for CuddleLife in Progress by Cam

Hey Snuggle Buds,

Cam here.  Writing ya from the beach in Seaside, Oregon.  My global cuddling show has hit the road, and may visit a city near you soon!  Pay attention to my Google Map reading “Where’s Cam?” on the home page of CuddleLife.com

I’ve met so many wonderful people on my journey.  I hug, and talk to everyone I can about the benefits of platonic touch.  Humans from around the Pacific Northwest have been contacting me to cuddle up with them.  Each session has been 100% positive!  Plus, consultations with me are free.  Cuddling sessions vary in duration as you wish, but two hours and overnights have been wildly successful lately.

My touch service has lead me to people living across Oregon including: Eugene, Mt. Hood, Salem, Portland, McMinnville, and up to Astoria.  One guy I held in my arms said the experience was like getting, “a massage for your soul.”  I wonder what cuddling can do for you?  It makes me feel relaxed, connected, and open.  I’m a spectacular listener, and very understanding.  I’ve never had to stop a cuddling session with a client either.  It’s non-sexual.  It’s almost too easy to understand.  It’s not complicated.  #Cuddling is the best!

I will keep you posted on my exact physical location, and where I’m going next on tour.  Contact me so I can greet your smiling face soon.  Show your support of the cuddling movement.  Tell your friends about me, Cam The Cuddler & CuddleLife.com

Best wishes,

Cam aka Papa Bear
